As Chair of the Steering Committee of the Whatcom County Incarceration Reduction and Prevention Task Force, I have helped lead our County toward a fairer, more effective, and more streamlined criminal justice system.

Specifically, I want to drill down a bit on the new Whatcom Crisis Stabilization Center that I am proud to have helped make a reality.

Bellingham, Wa – Today, Whatcom County Council Chair Barry Buchanan announced a run for the position of Whatcom County Executive.

Barry Buchanan is a trusted leader in Whatcom County. He stands up for things that matter: public safety and criminal justice reform, clean drinking water and improved emergency medical services county-wide.
